Manouche Caravane

Manouche Caravane est un salon de tatouage situé à Bruxelles. Lors de mon passage chez eux, les fondateurs du salon m’ont demandé s’il était possible de réaliser une peinture sur leur comptoir. J’ai donc en amont réalisé un croquis que j’ai ensuite redessiné sur le comptoir. Par la suite, j’ai utilisé une peinture résistante qui est fréquemment utilisée pour la customisation de vitrine. Le tout a été réalisé au pinceau et ce fut un travail très rigoureux.

Manouche Caravane is a tattoo parlor in Brussels. During my visit, the salon founders asked me if it would be possible to do a painting on their counter. So I drew up a sketch beforehand, which I then redrew on the counter. I then used a resistant paint that is frequently used to customize shop windows. It was all done with a brush, and it was a very rigorous job.
